1-Star Balls

One-star table tennis balls — 40 mm poly balls at practice grade, bought by the box.

One-star balls are made to looser limits on roundness and bounce, and that is the right specification for volume: multiball drills, robot feeding, warm-ups and casual play, where having plenty of balls matters far more than any single one being certified. They are also the ones to lose outdoors without minding.

They are not for rated matches — three-star is the grade required in sanctioned play.
