Schildkröt, a traditional german brand established on the market for over 100 years, is considered to be the inventor of table tennis balls: in 1896 it developed the Blass-Press method for the production of the popular celluloid ball.

Today the range runs from high-quality 3-star competition balls to durable training balls and colorful leisure balls, and beyond the ball to a wide selection of table tennis bats, sets, nets and many other table tennis products with the high quality promise of Schildkröt.

Donic, for its part, has an excellent worldwide reputation in the table tennis competition segment and is the supplier of many renowned players, and Donic-Schildkröt is today the undisputed leader in the leisure table tennis market in Central Europe.

Very popular with children and teenagers, Color Popps table tennis balls bring color into your table tennis game. With them, Donic-Schildkröt takes the ping pong table out of its dusty corner and gives the game modern, fresh colors.

Any recreational player who demands a lot of power for little money will find Schildkröt Jade the perfect table tennis ball. Also for club training, this ball is a good option and beginner table tennis players will immediately start playing with an original Schildkröt ball at their new sport. 6 white balls for better visibility through greater color contrast. For decades, the 2T training ball / TT club from Schildkröt has held its place as the most popular training ball in demanding club sports. Round, good bounce, durable! This new variant of the 2T, the 2T Poly 40+, is now celluloid-free. As early as July 2014, the classic celluloid balls will gradually be replaced by the new plastic/poly balls at tournaments.

Plastic balls today have absolutely comparable playing properties and identical quality and durability. However, they are much more environmentally friendly in production, which is why the change was initiated by the ITTF. The plastic balls can be recognized by the + behind 40 (40 stands for the diameter.

40+ is always and uniformly a plastic/poly ball for all manufacturers. The 2T / TT Club is characterized by a good price-performance ratio.

Schildkröt’s top competition ball is the Champion 3* ITTF, which rightfully takes over from the renowned "Schildkröt 3* Super" table tennis ball as its successor. As an ITTF-approved competition ball, it is eligible for use in all official tournaments.

This ball boasts hand-selected, high-quality manufacturing ensuring precise roundness, excellent bounce characteristics, durability, and robustness. The Champion 3* is now free of celluloid; its predecessor, the Super 3*, was made of celluloid. As of July 2014, traditional celluloid balls are being gradually replaced by new plastic/poly balls in tournaments.

These plastic balls offer comparable playing characteristics, quality, and durability while being more environmentally friendly, which prompted the ITTF to initiate the switch. Plastic balls are identifiable by the + symbol following 40 (40 stands for diameter; 40+ signifies that it is a plastic/poly ball across all manufacturers).

The Schildkröt Champion 3* ITTF, like its predecessor, remains one of the best competition balls available. It comes in a pack of four, white with a black stamp.
