For decades, the 2T training ball / TT club from Schildkröt has held its place as the most popular training ball in demanding club sports. Round, good bounce, durable! This new variant of the 2T, the 2T Poly 40+, is now celluloid-free. As early as July 2014, the classic celluloid balls will gradually be replaced by the new plastic/poly balls at tournaments.

Plastic balls today have absolutely comparable playing properties and identical quality and durability. However, they are much more environmentally friendly in production, which is why the change was initiated by the ITTF.
