Penhold Blades

Holding its ground in battle, the JOOLA Tezzo Guardian Table Tennis Blade has an all-wood composition that brings superb consistency, optimal control and excellent feeling. That flexible 7-ply composition, with Limba outer veneers and Ayous layers, adds a sting on attack.

Strong and confident, the JOOLA Tezzo Warrior Table Tennis Blade is a 5+2 ply blade in which inner layers of KL-c and outer veneers of Limba work together to create a solid, yet reliable, trampoline effect. Expect the JOOLA Tezzo Warrior to bring great feeling and exponential speed to your offensive game.

Leading the way with tempered wisdom, the JOOLA Tezzo Paladin Table Tennis Blade has a unique, soft inner layer 3K-sc that allows for high vibrational feel and exceptional blade flex. Its 5+2 ply composition includes Limba top layers, and the JOOLA Tezzo Paladin pairs perfectly with firmer rubbers to create a soft yet springy effect for greater ease of play.

The JOOLA Tezzo Spartan Table Tennis Blade is the fastest and most powerful blade of the Tezzo series, a force to be reckoned with. Its 5+2 ply composition, a solid Kiri core with KL-c outer layers, gives crisp and direct contact, and Limba top layers shield it to maintain optimal touch.

Play like an elite athlete with the JOOLA Nobilis PBO-c! In this 3+2 ply blade design, the PBO-c – a synthetic fiber used in auto-racing and aeronautics for its durability and elasticity – is placed in-between the Kiri core and the thicker 1.2mm Hinoki outer veneers.

This construction gives the blade stability, elasticity and a lot of force, enabling very precise play even at high speed, and makes it great for close-to-the-table play. With its high-quality materials and well-thought-out design, the JOOLA Nobilis PBO-c will take your offensive game to the next level!

JOOLA Premium Line blades use the highest quality materials with an attention to craftsmanship: composite materials made in Japan, handles sourced in Italy, and assembly completed in South Korea. What you get when you use one of the JOOLA Premium Line blades will thoroughly impress you!

All wood, all power! The 7-ply JOOLA Xylo 7 has Limba as its top layer, which is perfect for direct and powerful topspin play, and inner layers that are all softer Ayous, for feeling and feedback on all your shots. It is perfect for the offensive player that prefers the touch of an all wooden blade!

JOOLA Professional Line blades use innovative technologies, high-quality materials, and first-rate craftsmanship to create blades that will truly propel your game to the next level.

The JOOLA Hugo Calderano AW-7 Table Tennis Blade is a versatile all wood blade with soft touch and exceptional spin potential.

It gives players an all wood blade that excels through exceptionally soft ball contact and superior control. This pure seven-ply all wood construction uses multiple Limba layers for extended dwell time and effortless spin generation—ideal for technical topspin play with precise placement.

Ayous and Blue Ayous core layers ensure lightness, quick response, and a harmonious balance of feel, control, and power. Perfect for players who value technical finesse and versatility over raw speed.

A dynamic offensive blade, the JOOLA Hugo Calderano KL-c Inner Table Tennis Blade places inner-layer KL-c (Aramid-Carbon) composite fibers close to the core and pairs them with premium Limba outer veneers, for an exceptional balance of power, control, and feel.

Named after table tennis star Hugo Calderano, this 5+2 ply construction—Limba, Ayous, KL-c, Ayous, KL-c, Ayous, Limba—delivers OFF speed with a medium-soft touch, weighing around 85g, making it ideal for spin-oriented attackers who demand precision in variable topspins, blocks, and mid-distance drives.

KL-c Composite Technology
KL-c is a proprietary hybrid weave of Aramid and carbon fibers, blending carbon's extreme
stiffness for explosive rebound and enlarged sweet spot with Aramid's superior vibration
damping and impact toughness from body armor applications. In the inner position, KL-c sits under additional Ayous and outer plies, which filter initial ball contact for longer dwell time and a "woody" yet powerful response, reducing harsh buzz compared to pure carbon or outer KL-c designs.

Layer Construction Details
This 7-ply setup uses two inner KL-c layers symmetrically around a lightweight Ayous core,
flanked by three Ayous plies for flex and stability, topped by responsive Limba veneers. Limba provides spin-friendly grip and flexibility near the table, while Ayous maintains linear power development without excess weight; the inner KL-c ensures controlled OFF/OFF+ speed that scales with swing intensity.

Playing Characteristics
Players experience a stable, low-vibration feel with consistent rebound across a larger sweet spot, excelling in short game control, counter-topspins, and high-pressure rallies where pure carbon feels brittle. It offers more power than all-wood blades but superior feedback over hard carbon, with Aramid enhancing durability under repeated impacts for long-lasting performance.

Target Player Profile
Best for advanced offensive players who prioritize topspin variability, precision, and placement. The inner KL-c design emphasizes control-oriented OFF play with versatile performance across all distances.
