Butterfly Robots
Butterfly Amicus table tennis robots and their spare parts — programmable ball machines that feed serves and drives to a set spin, speed, placement and frequency.
A robot is the one piece of equipment that lets you practise a specific stroke without a partner, because it repeats the same ball exactly every time. Where you should look depends on what you're training: the models differ in ball capacity, how many spin types they produce, whether placement can be randomised, and whether sequences can be programmed and saved for a specific drill.
Don't buy the machine without the net. A collection net catches and recirculates balls, and it's what makes long solo sessions actually practical — without one you'll spend more time picking balls up than hitting them. Spare parts for the Amicus range are listed here alongside the machines, so a worn part doesn't mean replacing the whole robot.
