Our Story

Ping Pong Virtuoso is the table tennis branch of Sports Virtuoso, created by lifelong racquet athletes and coaches who live on the court.

Our partnership came together naturally out of a shared obsession with racquet sports: bringing together Mitch’s four decades of competitive table tennis roots and trusted relationships with manufacturers, TTCAN, and FTTQ, with Timur’s modern e-commerce platform and grassroots distribution. Together, we built Ping Pong Virtuoso to give local players, clubs, and schools direct access to tournament-grade gear, honest guidance, and reliable service from people who actually play the game.

Who We Are

Mitch Rothfleisch

"Table tennis has been my life since I was four years old, learning to play standing on a wooden box. Over the past forty years, I’ve had the privilege of winning provincial titles across every junior and senior division, coaching Quebec teams at the Canada Games and Jeux de la Francophonie, and investing deeply back into our sport through long-standing grassroots sponsorships. At Ping Pong Virtuoso, my goal is simple: use my decades of tournament experience and direct ties with manufacturers to make sure you get the exact right setup for your game."

Timur Burganov

"As a competitive squash player and coach in Montreal, my focus has always been on player-first accessibility. Our racquet store originally started in 2005 as Boutique de Raquettes, before moving in 2013 to our current home at 5277 Av du Parc under the name Virtuose du Sport (Sports Virtuoso). In 2014, I co-founded the Xamsa Squash cooperative to bring fair prices to athletes, and later created sportsvirtuoso.com to support racquet sports across Canada with dependable logistics and gear. Bringing table tennis into the fold with Mitch was an obvious next step—combining deep sport heritage with seamless, modern service."
