Schildkröt Champion 3*** ABS Plastic 40+ White Balls (pack of 120)

Schildkröt’s top competition ball is the Champion 3* ITTF, which rightfully takes over from the renowned "Schildkröt 3* Super" table tennis ball as its successor. As an ITTF-approved competition ball, it is eligible for use in all official tournaments.

This ball boasts hand-selected, high-quality manufacturing ensuring precise roundness, excellent bounce characteristics, durability, and robustness. The Champion 3* is now free of celluloid; its predecessor, the Super 3*, was made of celluloid. As of July 2014, traditional celluloid balls are being gradually replaced by new plastic/poly balls in tournaments.

These plastic balls offer comparable playing characteristics, quality, and durability while being more environmentally friendly, which prompted the ITTF to initiate the switch. Plastic balls are identifiable by the + symbol following 40 (40 stands for diameter; 40+ signifies that it is a plastic/poly ball across all manufacturers).

The Schildkröt Champion 3* ITTF, like its predecessor, remains one of the best competition balls available. It comes in a pack of four, white with a black stamp.
