Butterfly Rubbers
Butterfly table tennis rubbers — the Tenergy and Dignics high-tension sheets, Rozena, Sriver, Glayzer and the training grades below them. The range covers inverted, short-pip, long-pip and anti-spin surfaces, with sponge hardness running from about 25° to 48°, so it reaches from blocking and chopping rubbers through to full offensive sheets. Whichever end you're shopping, that hardness figure is the number worth reading first.
Butterfly publishes speed, spin and arc figures for each rubber alongside the sponge hardness — and arc is the one buyers overlook. It describes the height of the ball's flight path off the rubber: a high-arc sheet lifts the ball and clears the net with heavy topspin, a low-arc sheet drives flatter and faster. Match it to how you actually play, not just the speed number.
A rubber is the sheet that glues onto a blade and provides the playing surface, and it's a wearing part — the topsheet loses grip with use, so budget for replacing it periodically. Thickness is chosen per sheet: go thinner for control and touch, thicker if you want the sponge to store more energy. Rubbers are sold as single sheets, so a full racket needs two.

Tenergy 64 is the fastest attacking rubber of the Tenergy family. Butterfly High Tension technology has enabled a fast dynamic rubber to be produced by utilizing the innovative Spring Sponge. Spring Sponge enables a player to grip the ball and catapult the return back at high speed and with heavy spin. The No. 64 was the development code of the pimples used in producing this inverted rubber. While Tenergy 05 is recommended for playing close to the table, Tenergy 64 is for the attacker who plays an offensive game from middle distance.

Roundell Soft is a great offensive rubber, with more spin than Bryce Speed and nearly the same speed as Tenergy 05. Roundell Soft is perfect for the beginner to intermediate player interested in trying High Tension rubber, giving one consistent reaction and controlled performance. With a softer sponge than the original Roundell, Roundell Soft is geared towards an aggressive offensive player with lower swing speeds. This will make it easier to create fast/spinny shots due to the increased dwell time, putting additional pressure on your opponent.
