A spin-oriented 5+2 ply blade. High-quality Hinoki outer veneers give a soft touch in the short game and considerable speed when you commit to a stroke. The defining feature is the Kevlar-Carbon (KL-C) weave placed in the inner construction, which improves feel while allowing greater precision in topspin play. A layer of Koto between the two veneers further sharpens control for looping and countering.
