Allround Blades

Premium from A to Z is what TP_LIGNA stands for, and it is the ultimate investment in your game quality. Made from the finest woods, the concave handles have an ergonomic 3D shape that lets hand and racket merge into one unit. TP_Ligna represents the ultimate in fine blade craftsmanship.

From the exquisite woods selected for each model to the special sawing method used to create the wood veneers, these blades scream perfection. They are indeed andro’s finest instruments, an apt description considering that only fine musical instruments like violins use comparable manufacturing techniques.

These pieces of art blend together the special properties of various wood and synthetic layers to create table tennis blades that are highly functional and that you will be proud to own. A true example of precision German engineering and craftsmanship.

This ALL model is an extremely thin, light precision instrument for the control freak and ambitious all-rounder. Plenty of speed when you need to attack with maximum control. An all-wood blade with that unmistakable all-wood feel.

DONIC WORLD CHAMPION 89 – the champions´ blade series, and top workmanship made in Germany! Its three blades are dedicated to the Swedish legends Jan-Ove Waldner, Jörgen Persson and Michael Appelgren.

They are produced exclusively for DONIC in Germany – where the golden era of the Swedish team began in 1989, when they secured a historic 5–0 win in the final against China at the World Championships in Dortmund. Experts make these blades with maximum precision and cutting-edge technology, a fitting reflection of how the three Swedish legends played.

This one is for allround players, power allround players and controlled offensive players that love a lightweight blade. Very lightweight, very good control, good feel.

Technology: 7 plies made of kiri (core ply), ayous (2+4), carbon fleece Zylon (3+5) and spruce (1+7, outer ply).

Master the ball: speed isn’t everything, and points can also be won with control and precise placement – which is what this blade is ideal for.

It is made for allround players that value precision and control. Very lightweight, with an extremely good feel and good control.

Technology: 5 veneers made of ayous (core veneer), ayous (2+4) and limba (1+5, outer veneer). High quality at great value: the special combination of veneers gives harmonious playing characteristics and excellent control, and the EXCLUSIVE blades are available in four different speed versions.

The heat is on: thermic treatment of the veneers gives excellent stability, comparable to the properties of expensive tropical woods. The veneers used in the BURN series are subjected to a temperature of 200 degrees Celsius for 24 hours, during which they harden and all moisture is removed from the wood. Unique playing characteristics and a large sweet spot are the result.

All blades in the BURN series have the same veneer structure, but the thickness of the centre ply – made of kiri – differs, and that changes the hardness and speed significantly.

This one is for controlled offensive players and allround players that like to attack. Very controlled, very lightweight, with good speed reserves.

Technology: 5 veneers made of kiri (core veneer, 3.0 mm) and awan (2+4) and mahogany (1+5, outer veneer).

DONIC DEFPLAY INNER CARBON
A REAL INNOVATION
The DONIC DEFPLAY INNER CARBON is an innovative defensive blade that features a synthetic inner carbon layer. Similar to the WHIPER INNER CARBON, it has two layers of Hyramid Carbon surrounding the inner Kiri wooden veneer. However, there are two key differences that set the DEFPLAY INNER CARBON apart. Firstly, its inner veneer is 0.4 mm thinner, and secondly, its blade size is slightly larger, resulting in an enlarged sweetspot. These factors contribute to a lower vibration amplitude and significantly improved control. Additionally, the Hyramid Carbon provides the necessary striking power for modern defensive players' attacks.

WHIPER + DEFPLAY INNER·OUTER·CARBON
The latest DONIC innovation introduces fresh possibilities for various playing styles with its special synthetic fibre. While all three models are constructed using the same type of wood and feature two layers of Hyramid Carbon, they each possess distinct playing characteristics. This is because the placement of the synthetic fibre layers directly beneath the outer veneer significantly enhances the speed of the blade. The size of the blade and the thickness of the inner veneer also contribute to the performance of the new DONIC DEFPLAY INNER CARBON defensive blade, making it a valuable addition for defensive players who are frequently overlooked.

Technology: 7 layers of Kiri (inner), Ayous (2+6), Hyramid Carbon (3+5), Limba (1+7, outer).
Character: Outstanding control, sensitive, discreetly dynamic
Recommendation: For modern defensive players who want to surprise with attacking strokes.

Characteristics: DEF +, ALL+

Speed: controlled
Control: high
Veneer structure: Veneers with synthetic fiber
Layers: 5+2

Strike at the right moment: attack, but not at all costs. Anyone who follows this motto will find the WALDNER EXCLUSIVE AR+ a good choice.

It is for offensively oriented allround players looking for good control. Reliable, with a good feel and good acceleration.

Technology: 5 veneers made of ayous (core veneer), limba (2+4) and limba (1+5, outer veneer). High quality at great value: the special combination of veneers gives harmonious playing characteristics and excellent control, and the EXCLUSIVE blades are available in four different speed versions.

• Thickness: 6.0 mm

A precise attack: this blade is perfect for players who are actively attacking in a controlled manner and aim to dictate the game with accurate ball placement. Its veneer structure is identical to the WHIPER OUTER CARBON, except that in the INNER version the core layer of Kiri wood is covered by two layers of synthetic fibre, so the speed is lower and there is even more control.

WHIPER + DEFPLAY INNER·OUTER·CARBON is the latest DONIC innovation, a special synthetic fibre that opens fresh possibilities for various playing styles.

All three models are constructed using the same type of wood and feature two layers of Hyramid Carbon, yet each has distinct playing characteristics, because placing the synthetic fibre layers directly beneath the outer veneer significantly enhances the speed of the blade.

The size of the blade and the thickness of the inner veneer also contribute to the performance of the new DONIC DEFPLAY INNER CARBON defensive blade, a valuable addition for defensive players, who are frequently overlooked.
