Butterfly Rubbers
Butterfly table tennis rubbers — the Tenergy and Dignics high-tension sheets, Rozena, Sriver, Glayzer and the training grades below them. The range covers inverted, short-pip, long-pip and anti-spin surfaces, with sponge hardness running from about 25° to 48°, so it reaches from blocking and chopping rubbers through to full offensive sheets. Whichever end you're shopping, that hardness figure is the number worth reading first. Our rubber selection guide places them by sponge hardness beside every other brand we carry.
Butterfly publishes speed, spin and arc figures for each rubber alongside the sponge hardness — and arc is the one buyers overlook. It describes the height of the ball's flight path off the rubber: a high-arc sheet lifts the ball and clears the net with heavy topspin, a low-arc sheet drives flatter and faster. Match it to how you actually play, not just the speed number.
A rubber is the sheet that glues onto a blade and provides the playing surface, and it's a wearing part — the topsheet loses grip with use, so budget for replacing it periodically. Thickness is chosen per sheet: go thinner for control and touch, thicker if you want the sponge to store more energy. Rubbers are sold as single sheets, so a full racket needs two.

Impartial XB is a great option for the player that wants the best of both worlds. This new rubber uses a harder pimples structure, combined with the High Tension rubber. This results in an upgrade in both speed and spin from a classic short pips rubber sheet.
Impartial XB supports passive block shots as well as offensive play focused on speed. This dynamic rubber is recommended for a direct offensive playing style close to the table, but also easily transitions to a balanced allround game due to the pip shape.
PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
- A High Tension pips-out rubber suited for both passive and aggressive play
- The soft sponge layer helps provide a solid foundation of control, while also lending itself to easy power
- Impartial XB is recommended for the steady defensive minded player that will not hesitate to seize the attack!

Butterfly Ilius S is a completely new long pip top sheet with a brand new sponge. When long pips rubber has hard sponge, the pimples will bend more, thus greater effects will be obtained. Generally, the harder the sponge, the more difficult it is to control as the speed of the ball off the racket gets faster.
However, Absorber Sponge Heavy absorbs the energy of the opponent's ball well even during hard impact, so you can have high stability while taking advantage of the long pimpled effect. In addition, the durability of the top sheet has more than doubled compared to the Feint Long III, which has a similar pimple shape.
This is due to the compounds used to achieve durability whilst maintaining the performance of the rubber. The top sheet is rather hard with pimples whose aspect ratio is at the highest limit permitted to extract the features of the rubber.
The combination of the top sheet and Absorber Sponge Heavy makes it easier to play a push stroke and to return an opponent's attack with a low defensive stroke with heavy spin or with minimal spin.
The rubber is recommended for defensive players, enabling subtle changes as well as stability in rallies.
PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS
- Ilius S is the first long pimpled rubber with Absorber Sponge Heavy, developed by Butterfly
- This new hard sponge allows for exceptional control on chops and pushes, even when receiving powerful shots
- To accentuate the long-pip effect, the pimple shape is as thin and high as ITTF rules allow
- Designed for spin variation and ease to block an opponent’s return, all with a low trajectory
- Ilius S is recommended for defensive players, enabling subtle changes as well as stability in rallies

Butterfly Ilius B is a completely new long pip top sheet with a brand new sponge, Absorber Sponge Drop. When long pips rubber has hard sponge, the pimples will bend more, thus greater effects will be obtained. Generally, the harder the sponge, the more difficult it is to control as the speed of the ball off the racket gets faster.
However, Absorber Sponge Drop absorbs the energy of the opponent's ball well even during hard impact, so you can have high stability while taking advantage of the long pimpled effect. The top sheet is also rather hard with pimples whose aspect ratio is at the highest limit permitted to extract the features of the rubber.
The combination of the top sheet and Absorber Sponge Drop provides a high performance when playing a short stroke over the table, such as chop block. In addition, innovative attacking and defensive play are both possible, thus making best use of the characteristics of the long pimples, such as a low penetrating backhand with minimal spin.
In addition, the durability of the top sheet has more than doubled compared to the Feint Long III, which has a similar pimple shape. This is due to the compounds used to achieve durability whilst maintaining the performance of the rubber.

Butterfly Feint OX rubber is a great allround long pimples rubber sheet. Whether you are blocking close to the table or chopping from distance, this rubber is very versatile for a long pips sheet. As well as being easy to control when using it defensively, Feint OX can also be dangerous on the attack.
When hitting with this rubber, one can hit with a flat trajectory while generating very little/no spin, making it very difficult for your opponent to return the ball. Butterfly Feint OX also comes with a Butterfly Chack Sheet attached, making it easier to apply to your blade right out of the package.
