DONIC presents an exciting innovation: The answer to the plastic ball loss of rotation conundrum! 
BlueGrip is the first rubber sheet which has a Chinese style sticky top sheet in combination with a blue sponge with inbuilt speed glue effect. BlueGrip combines the best of two worlds – and made in Germany.

Our product developers were set the challenge: How is it possible to compensate for the loss of rotation which the plastic ball has cause without losing the speed and dynamism of rubber sheets with inbuilt speed glue effect? The result is the BlueGrip. Our answer to the plastic ball is available in two versions.

BlueGrip V1
The DONIC BlueGrip V1 has a sticky, Chinese style top sheet in combination with a catapult effect blue sponge.

Especially recommended for topspin players who prefer to attack with the forehand. Thanks to its sticky surface the BlueGrip V1 is also suitable for combination bat and defensive players who occasionally like to attack with counter top spins from half-distance.

The BLUESTAR has great potential to become the new star among the DONIC table tennis rubber sheets because of its new technology.

The secret of the BLUESTAR lies in its rubber sponge, it is completely different from all other sponges of the DONIC rubber sheets. The developers have proudly called the underlying technology "Optimised Energy Sponge", OPTE for short. A small-pored sponge that sets new standards in terms of elasticity and dampening level due to its special composition, and you can feel this technology instantly when playing.

The fantastic catapult and speed characteristics make the DONIC BLUESTAR A1 an exceptional product. The top sheet unlike the successful rubbers of DONIC’s BLUEGRIP C-Touch series is only slightly sticky but extremely grippy.

The former world champion Jörgen Persson is enthusiastic about this new development. "I have never before played such an excellent table tennis rubber," explained the Swedish legend. The thinnest sponge is 1.9 mm, middle sponge thickness is 2.1 mm - and the thickest variation is called max+, because this sponge is even thicker than previous max versions.
