Blade Specifications Chart

DONIC presents a very special anniversary blade for the 30th anniversary of Jan-Ove Waldner's Olympic victory in 1992. The JO WALDNER GOLD EDITION is a 7-ply offensive blade (five precious veneers with two inner layers of Etalyra carbon), dedicated to one of the best table tennis players of all time, and so its handle wings have been stylishly designed in the Swedish national colours (FH yellow/BH blue).

The result is a truly exclusive blade made of absolutely professional and high-quality material for a very special feeling: a powerful offensive blade with fantastic feeling. Absolutely brilliant, just like Jan-Ove Waldner.

Technology: 7 layers of Abachi (inner), Etalyra Carbon (3+5), Abachi (2+6), Limba (1+7 outer). Character: Powerful and sensitive, fantastic feeling. Recommendation: For modern attacking players who demand something extraordinary.

Modern defenders like the great Japanese talent, Yuto Muramatsu, will take every opportunity to launch sudden counter-attacks from a safe defensive position. The Koji Matsushita Offensive is the ideal blade for this type of players who rely on excellent control for defensive playing, but need good speed for their own attacking.

The 5-ply design with a slightly harder outer mahogany ply provides for outstanding power second-to-none in the defensive blade segment, and gives any defender all the precision and control they need for passive playing. All blades of the VICTAS Koji Matsushita series are hand-made in the VICTAS Japanese blade workshop.

MAGNASS, a premium offensive blade, is built around the newly developed HAD carbon fiber. That innovative, extra-hardened aramid-carbon layer sits directly on the core veneer, and MAGNASS owes its tremendous stability and power to it. The blade develops its maximum power during explosive offensive strokes, where the HAD carbon fiber generates maximum energy that is transferred directly to the ball.

Thanks to its 5+2 construction and perfectly matched wood veneers, the player receives precise and clear feedback and - considering its high speed - an outstanding ball feeling. This makes MAGNASS a highly modern offensive blade that combines powerful dynamics with excellent handling and harmonizes perfectly with grippy offensive rubbers.

Based on the famous DONIC ALLPLAY, one of the best-selling blades in the world, this blade adds two carbon layers around the core veneer. Together with the SENSO handle technology they give a unique playing feel along with excellent speed and control.

It is for offensive players and allround players that like to attack. Perfectly balanced, quick, incredible control and a great feel.

Technology: 7 veneers made of abachi (core veneer), carbon (2+4), anegre (3+5) and limba (outer veneer).

DONIC BALSA CARBO CERTRAN FIBRE – extreme Power with a light touch. There are no compromises with this blade: Certran Carbon, an artificial fibre, has been combined with a new carbon layer and placed directly under the Koto outer veneers, which gives the latest model in the Balsa Carbo Line its extreme hardness.

Together with the 4 mm thick balsa core, the result is an astonishingly light blade – at 75g the BALSA CARBO CERTRAN FIBRE is one of the lightest DONIC blades ever. It is also superfast, even faster and harder than the CARBO FLEECE.

BALSA CARBO CERTRAN FIEBRE is an attacking blade for all players who stay close to the table and play a ferocious power game: uncompromising attackers who hit the ball hard. It is especially suitable when used with soft rubbers. Extremely light, very hard and stunningly fast.

Technology: 7 plies of Balsa (inner, 4mm), Limba (3&5) Certran Carbon (2&6), Koto (1&7, outer). Straight, concave, anatomic.

Super Arylate-Carbon gives players a blade with both high reaction and low vibration properties, and the slightly larger blade head and Innerfiber structure increase dwell time. Together these features successfully integrate speed potential and stability, which are often considered mutually exclusive.

Like the superstar Harimoto siblings, this blade is ideal for players seeking a stable and powerful counterattack close to the table.
