An offensive blade is stiffer and faster than an allround frame, which is what lets a full stroke produce pace without extra effort. The same stiffness gives you less margin: soft touch and short play near the net take more control, because the blade returns energy rather than absorbing it. It suits a player whose technique is already repeatable.
Pair it deliberately — a fast blade under a hard, fast rubber compounds, and many players run a slower or softer sheet on the backhand to keep the setup controllable.
