Penhold Blades
Penhold table tennis blades — frames with a penhold handle, for players who hold the racket like a pen.
Two handle shapes are sold. A Chinese penhold (CPen) has a short, rounded handle on a blade shaped like a shakehand one; a Japanese penhold (JPen) has a taller, block-shaped handle. Many of these are the penhold version of a shakehand blade — Butterfly marks its own with CS — so the plies and the wood are the same and the handle is what changes.
Some blades here are sold in several handle types, so choose the penhold option on the product page. The blade selection guide filters by grip and shows which penhold blades are in stock.

The Harimoto ZLC represents a leap forward in blade technology. Just like the popularity of the Harimoto ALC, it was obvious that adding this blade technology to the ZLC would make this blade an instant seller for the chinese penhold market. There are two main qualities that make the ZLC fibers a great attacking blade.
The first quality is the high rebound area improves overall contact in the sweetspot for more control and feel on soft and high power shots. The second quality is the dynamic feedback that is created because of how the blade layers are constructed to get the maximum feel.
Those 2 qualities are the reason this blade will appeal to a high range of players that play varying styles. The average weight of this blade is 85 grams, with a blade thickness of 5.7mm. The reaction is 10.5, and the vibration is 9.5, with a blade size of 161x150mm.
The rubber recommendation for this blade is the Dignics 05. For the Dignics line of rubber the 05 has the highest trajectory, and lands the shortest distance on the table. The 80 has the second highest, and lands in the middle of the table. The 64 has the lowest trajectory, and the longest travel path landing deepest on the table.
To add more grip to this blade you can get the Soft Grip Tape. It provides grip and comfort to the racket handle. Another great choice for racket care is adding side tape to the blade. It can protect the wood in the event it is hit on the table.

The Harimoto Innerforce Super ZLC CS is optimal for attack-minded players that also want control on touch shots. Because of the Super ZLC that is high reaction as well as having a large sweetspot, will create sharp contact on the ball with tremendous overall feel.

Super Arylate-Carbon gives players a blade with both high reaction and low vibration properties, and the Innerfiber structure increases dwell time. Together these features successfully integrate speed potential and stability, which are often considered mutually exclusive. The blade is ideal for players seeking a stable and powerful counterattack close to the table.
