Pre-Assembled Rackets

The Butterfly Nakama S5 Table Tennis Racket is a hybrid of wood and carbon fibre layers. The wooden surface outer plies are followed by a thin layer of carbon fibre. The addition of the carbon fibre will make the blade lighter, stronger and stiffer. This provides a larger sweet spot than an all-wood blade and will therefore be more consistent. Pan Asia is more entry level rubber due to its emphasis on control. It still has enough speed and spin to get the job done. The Pan Asia rubber is widely used on many Butterfly recreational rackets for its reliability in all situations.

Constructed of 5 layers of wood, the Butterfly Nakama S8 Table Tennis Racket has an all-wood blade, and that composition gives a softer feel at impact: it will flex slightly and 'hold' the ball a bit longer than blades made with a reinforcing material such as carbon fibre.
