Robots
Table tennis robots — ball machines that feed serves and drives to a set spin, speed, placement and frequency.
A robot is the only equipment that lets you practise one stroke without a partner, because it repeats the same ball exactly. What separates the models is how much they can vary: ball capacity, how many spin types they produce, whether placement can be randomised across the table, and whether a sequence can be programmed and saved as a drill.
Budget for the collection net as part of the machine, not as an extra. It catches and recirculates the balls, and without one a session is spent picking balls up rather than hitting them. You will also want training balls by the box — a robot goes through them, and there is no reason to feed three-star balls into one. Spare parts are listed separately, so a worn part does not mean replacing the robot.

A unique robot design for realistic play
By far the best innovation of the last few years in the area of table tennis ball machines is the affordable three-wheel design robot developed in Hungary. This company is the sole developer and manufacturer of this technology and also makes robots for another well-known table tennis brand. The factory is continuously working on upgrades, which will be available for Power Pong models as they become ready.
Comparing the three-wheel design with the one- or two-wheel designs of other manufacturers, the three-wheel design with its outstanding ball placement system is a superior solution for delivering realistic drills with different types of serves, different amounts of spin and speed combinations than the one- or two-wheel designs made by other companies.
What makes this design exceptional is the leading technology that turns the wheels quickly forward or backward, and increases or decreases the speed of the wheels in order to produce different types and different amounts of spin and speed combinations. It is able to deliver serves with different amounts of underspin, sidespin and topspin one after the other or randomly.
It offers more features and makes it easy to program both basic and highly complex drills. With its 7,080 rotations per minute, it can generate much heavier topspin, underspin, and sidespin shots than any other manufacturer’s robot on the market.
