Butterfly Ilius S is a completely new long pip top sheet with a brand new sponge. When long pips rubber has hard sponge, the pimples will bend more, thus greater effects will be obtained. Generally, the harder the sponge, the more difficult it is to control as the speed of the ball off the racket gets faster. However, Absorber Sponge Heavy absorbs the energy of the opponent's ball well even during hard impact, so you can have high stability while taking advantage of the long pimpled effect. In addition, the durability of the top sheet has more than doubled compared to the Feint Long III, which has a similar pimple shape. This is due to the compounds used to achieve durability whilst maintaining the performance of the rubber. The top sheet is rather hard with pimples whose aspect ratio is at the highest limit permitted to extract the features of the rubber. The combination of the top sheet and Absorber Sponge Heavy makes it easier to play a push stroke and to return an opponent's attack with a low defensive stroke with heavy spin or with minimal spin. The rubber is recommended for defensive players, enabling subtle changes as well as stability in rallies.

Acuda S1 is a very-fast rubber with outstanding spin qualities. Close to or away from the table, it is possible to play loop-counterloop as in the days of speed-glued rubber. Despite its medium-hard sponge, Acuda S1 is easily controlled and has a great feel. You can count on Acuda S1, even in an awkward situation. This rubber may be fast, but ball control is excellent.

The Success Story of the Bluegrip Series Continues

The new component in the BLUEGRIP J series combines the strengths of two rubber sheets. Under the direction of the new DONIC partner Zhang Jike, a symbiosis of the BLUESTAR A and BLUEGRIP C series was created. The top sheet mixture of the BLUESTAR A provided the basis for this combination, while the sponge structure and the geometry of the top sheet pimples are identical to those of the BLUEGRIP C. The result is a new rubber sheet that meets the highest demands: very dynamic and extremely spin-friendly, powerful and yet with good feeling.

Three versions are also available in this DONIC rubber series: BLUEGRIP J-1 is the hardest version, J-2 the medium version and J-3 the softest sponge version. China's superstar Zhang Jike personally spent countless hours of testing during the development work to perfect the fine-tuning of the nuances. The result is an impressive mix of the positive characteristics of two proven rubber series, the DONIC BLUEGRIP J. The fact that this new series with the “J” is named after him, Zhang Jike has more than deserved.

DONIC presents an exciting innovation: The answer to the plastic ball loss of rotation conundrum! 
BlueGrip is the first rubber sheet which has a Chinese style sticky top sheet in combination with a blue sponge with inbuilt speed glue effect. BlueGrip combines the best of two worlds – and made in Germany.

Our product developers were set the challenge: How is it possible to compensate for the loss of rotation which the plastic ball has cause without losing the speed and dynamism of rubber sheets with inbuilt speed glue effect? The result is the BlueGrip. Our answer to the plastic ball is available in two versions.

BlueGrip R1
An extremely grippy top sheet combined with a blue, fine-pored sponge which guarantees a powerful catapult effect. A rubber sheet that perfectly supports an attacking game from both sides. The DONIC BlueGrip R1 has a slightly softer feel and helps to compensate for the loss of spin that the plastic ball has entailed.
