Donic-Schildkröt Rackets

Ambitious leisure players and performance-oriented competition players alike are drawn to the Donic-Schildkröt "Waldner 1000", an absolute top quality bat.

Named after the swedish exceptional player Jan-Ove Waldner, who is considered to be the best player of all time in the history of this sport, the "Waldner 1000" offers top quality in every aspect: a high-quality equipment combined with uncompromising quality workmanship, and guaranteeing a high level of fun and many moments of success over a long period of time.

The specially selected wood has been supplemented with a technology known from the competition segment: the so-called "ERGO handle" ensures a smooth transition from the bat blade, without edges, to the handle and does not cause any pressure points on the index finger.

In addition to the bat's optimal position in the hand, this elaborate handle construction also offers the advantage of the fastest possible gripping, when changing from fronthand to backhand (or vice versa), a clear plus point in a game as fast as table tennis.

The ITTF-approved and extremely grippy Revolution X rubber covering, ensures a high level of "Effet" (= spin acceptance) and safe transmission of all other playing techniques onto the ball. The 2.1mm S-Plus sponge achieves a high speed (the thicker the sponge, the more self-acceleration and power the bat has).

In addition, an individual adjustment of the playing characteristics of this table tennis bat, by the so-called "Adjustable Balance Point" technology (ADP,) is possible in order to change the balance point with a few simple steps: shifting the center of gravity in the direction of the handle = more ball control and "Effet", shifting the focus towards the head = more power.

The packaging in a solid blister pack, optimally protects this high-quality bat during shipping. The Waldner Line bat models, which were developed in Germany, score with the high quality promise of Donic-Schildkröt.

Due to its graded material compositions and features, the Waldner series products, are available in the top segment as well as in attractive price ranges, for the ambitious table tennis players of all levels.

The Waldner 1000 is an absolute top bat, for attack-oriented leisure, club and competitive players, who are very offensive and aim for a quick point win.

For leisure and school sports, the "Legends 400 FSC" is a basic bat of good quality. Its "pimple inside" coating is reasonably smooth and approved by the ITTF, while a 1.6mm thick sponge between the rubber and the wood gives beginners and casual players the necessary power and a lot of control.

The new Legends Line from Donic-Schildkröt is dedicated to the table tennis legends Jan-Ove Waldner, Jörgen Persson and Steffen "Speedy" Fetzner, who, all together, have numerous international titles and successes. As a leading table tennis manufacturer, Donic-Schildkröt relies on responsible production.

Certified wood from the FSCTM organization (Forest Stewarship CouncilTM) is used to manufacture this product line. FSCTM is an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization whose aim is to promote environmentally friendly, socially beneficial and economically viable management of forests worldwide.

Inspired by table tennis icons Jan-Ove Waldner, Jörgen Persson, and Steffen "Speedy" Fetzner, the Donic-Schildkröt Legends 600 FSC is a premium recreational racket.

Part of Donic-Schildkröt's trend-setting racket series, the "Legends 800 FSC" is a table tennis bat that is very comfortable. All bats in this series are made from FSC-certified wood, which comes from controlled, sustainable cultivation.

Optimally suited for ambitious leisure sports and regular hobby games, this model is equipped with a high-quality wood and handle, the ITTF-approved Schildkröt Champion rubber assures a very good grip and transfers the spin very effectively to the ball.

The 2.0mm thick sponge located on the transition between the rubber and the wood generates a high level of power and faster ball speeds, with the same amount of force, advantage over a thinner and therefore inexpensive sponge. The ERGO handle with a rounded, flowing transition from the handle to the blade, lies much better in the hand than classic bats and avoids pressure points on the index finger.

This technology, established for years in the competition segment, is now being used in the field of leisure rackets, enabling the quickest possible change from forehand to backhand (and vice versa), a clear plus point for the fast table tennis duels.

The PLS technology ("Power Light System") is an immediate eye catcher: thanks to the transparent lens, you can look through the hollow racket handle. This construction ensures that the bat becomes lighter and more top-heavy, resulting in a very comfortable handling and optimized power.

The built-in "AVS" (Anti Vibration System - 2 shock-absorbing PU foam inserts under each of the two handle shells) between the blade and the handle noticeably reduces vibrations and oscillations, enabling a fatigue-free play with a lot of control.
