Soft Sponge Rubbers

The flexible allrounder: for more than 30 years the VARIO series has been firmly established among table tennis rubbers. As the name suggests, VARIO rubbers are incredibly versatile – depending on sponge hardness they can be used for any playing style – and besides being incredibly flexible they are absolutely reliable and very durable.

This one is for controlled offensive players and allrounders, and with the thinner sponge also for defensive players. Very grippy, medium-fast, very good control.

Technology: soft sponge, spin-elastic topsheet.

• Type: Pimples in

Made for close-to-the-table control and counter-offence. The Giga-Cell sponge provides a strong catapult effect while the topsheet supports variation and controlled spin attack - the combination gives good feel, a generous topspin arc and consistency as the pace rises.

Palio CJ8000 Biotech rubbers use the classic CJ8000 topsheet, fairly soft and somewhat tacky, for a very nice blend of speed and spin. The new topsheet will pick a ball up off the table when pressed down onto it, but just for a moment.

Palio Biotech sponges place the topsheet under tension, which gives an increase in speed, spin and overall performance over untensioned rubbers. Enjoy the performance and the pleasing "click" sound when striking the ball, all for a great price!

The CJ8000 Biotech rubber has a soft sponge for excellent looping performance close to the table. It makes a great two-sided looping rubber, especially for the backhand, and also a great forehand rubber for a harder blade or for anyone looking for spin and control when looping.

Need a rubber to execute consistent loops for third ball attack or serve return? This is a great option.

ITTF approved.

The newly developed CJ8000 Extreme truly possesses the three superb characteristics listed below.

What makes an ideal inverted rubber?

An ideal inverted rubber should possess the following three characteristics, namely:

1. Rubber sheet: sticky (spiny), thin and light in weight.
2. Sponge: lightweight, even distribution of pores, optimal thickness to avoid flattening of 40mm ball and offers excellent ball fell, high elasticity.
3. Glue: enabling rubber sheet and glue to be adhered permanently, no formation of crystals and flakes after glue is dried, hence not affecting elasticity.

Spin: 9, Control: 9, Sponge hardness: 38-40

Of all the EVOLUTION rubbers, EL-P is the most elastic. Its medium sponge places it perfectly between the harder MX-P or MX-S and the softer FX-P, which completes the EVOLUTION series, and the pimple geometry selected for the elastic EL-P does not even come close to the other EVOLUTION versions in terms of spin and speed.

At the table or at half distance, very precise and powerful strokes can be realized. EVOLUTION EL-P is chosen by most of the Topspin players who find the MX version too hard and the FX version too soft, but who put the emphasis on rotation and power.

A high grip PRO top rubber and an elastic medium hard sponge give exceptionally high speed and maximum spin. The EVOLUTION EL-S combines the high-performance surface with the enormous spin values of the MX-S and the power of the MX-P.

In combination with a medium-hard sponge and a specially tuned pimple geometry, another independent rubber in the EVOLUTION range has been created that sets standards in terms of elasticity.

The outstanding racket-ball contact ensures a sensitive touch despite enormous dynamics and highest spin values. Outstanding on topspin on undercut, the EL-S goes one better on follow-through and offers maximum rotation and power in all playing situations.
