Victas
VICTAS table tennis equipment — rubbers, blades, balls, glue and care products, cases, clothing and shoes. VICTAS is a Japanese brand whose European range is produced and distributed from Germany. Manufacture is split by product line: rubbers are made in Germany and Japan, blades in Japan, Hungary and China. It's also one of the few table tennis brands carrying a full clothing and footwear line alongside the playing equipment, so it's worth checking here before you go elsewhere for kit.
Two conventions run through the range, and it's worth knowing both before you compare anything across it:
- The suffix on a rubber name is its sponge hardness grade, so the name tells you the specification before you read anything else. Limber is 40°, Regular 42.5°, Stiff 45°, Extra 47.5° and Double Extra 50–52.5°. The TRIPLE series runs on its own scale, where Regular is 42.5°, Extra 55° and Double Extra 57.5° — so check which series you are looking at before reading a grade across.
- VICTAS rates most of its own products out of 10 and publishes the figures itself, so you can compare within the brand with real numbers rather than marketing language. Rubbers are rated for speed, control, spin, trajectory and sheet strength; blades for speed, control and vibration.

The SPINPIPS D3 is the extremely soft defensive variant of the legendary SPINPIPS series. While the tried-and-tested pips-out rubber sheet enables defence strokes with heavy backspin, the extra-soft sponge absorbs much of the energy of your opponent's attacks, thus providing for maximum control.
A pips-out rubber for modern defenders combining excellent spin characteristics with maximum control. In addition, the famous SPINPIPS rubber sheet enables sudden close-to-the-table attacks.
SPINPIPS D2 is an innovative development based on the legendary SPINPIPS D1. It combines the proven SPINPIPS features with “High Energy Tension” technology and, due to the new material composition, a slightly harder feel. The proven pips geometry enables SPINPIPS D2 users to produce their own spin variations for dangerous and variant-rich pips-out styles.
V > 01 Stiff is another innovation of the VICTAS V > 01 premium series for ambitious players. The German-Japanese team of designers (GJ Tec) succeeded in developing an extremely spinny offensive rubber which offers the perfect balance between speed and control to variable offensive strategists.
The pimple geometry which is slightly more direct compared to V > 01, as well as the maximum tension of the High Energy Tension rubber sheet of V > 01 Stiff provide for excellent energy transfer when the bat hits the ball, thus developing great speed.
The open-pore, state-of-the-art 45° high-performance sponge which is slightly softer than in V > 01 provides for more control in your play (“Power & Balance concept”). With this new sponge / top rubber sheet combination, V > 01 Stiff enables extremely fast and spinny topspin strokes with an aggressive ball trajectory.
Especially in mid-distance topspin rallies, the V > 01 Stiff rubber unfolds its full potential. The enormous tackiness of the High Energy Tension rubber additionally enables dangerous, variant-rich serves and magnificent control in over-the-table play.
