Allround Blades

Allround table tennis blades — frames balanced between speed and control, and the sensible default for most players.

An allround blade gives up some of the pace of an offensive frame in exchange for a wider margin: it is easier to keep the ball on the table, easier to block and push with, and more forgiving when timing is slightly off. That is what makes it the right blade while a stroke is still developing, and a perfectly good blade to keep afterwards.

It is also the more flexible base for a mixed setup, since it does not compound the speed of a fast rubber the way a stiff offensive blade does.

Victas Swat 5PW Blade FL

~~$95.95 CAD~~ $76.98 CAD

SWAT has been among the top-selling blades in Japan for many years. This is why VICTAS decided to design an ALL variant on this basis. The new, slightly thinner 5-ply structure optimizes the well-known great feel of the SWAT and provides for significantly higher control.

The SWAT 5PW is ideal for spin-oriented allrounders relying on excellent control and great feel. With a low weight of only 78g, the SWAT 5PW is also the first choice of players looking for a handy and light ALL blade with a convincing cost/performance ratio.
