Butterfly Orthodox rubber is a quintessential hardbat rubber. Before the modern inverted sponge rubber existed, players used this short pips no sponge rubber (think classic "ping pong"). Due to the unique qualities, one must use a more open racket angle to use the style of rubber, as the surface does not grab the ball the way Sriver or Tenergy 05 does.

However, this can also be an advantage against sponge rubber players, as your opponent may not be used to the spin or trajectory that is created by this style of rubber.

• This Butterfly rubber is 1 of 12 approved Hardbat racket coverings
• This short pips, no sponge rubber harkens back to the early days of table tennis
• Orthodox rubber is very easy to control and is well-suited for both offense and defense
• Pairs well with Andrzej Grubba, Diode V, Boll Control, Maze Magic, XStar IV, and other Butterfly blades
• Butterfly Free Chack table tennis glue recommended when assembling Butterfly table tennis rubbers

• Surface: Pimples-Out Without Sponge
• Stability: 3
• Variation: 8

Impartial XS is a great rubber for the player that wants the best of both worlds. This rubber is a High-Tension short pips rubber, but it also has characteristics that make it similar to inverted rubber. In addition to having the High Tension technology in the top sheet, the pimple structure makes it easy to impart sharp topspin loops.

With almost as much spin as Sriver, players can generate lots of spin while still being capable of the quintessential powerful drives that short pips are known for. For the most demanding pips-out player, Impartial XS offers the most speed and spin in the Butterfly line (even faster than Bryce!).

• A High Tension pips-out rubber that produces heavy spin and powerful drives
• The speed of Bryce combined with the spin of Sriver, all in a short pimples out rubber!
• Impartial XS is recommended for players who want the maximum speed and spin from their pips
• Pairs well with the Balsa Carbo X5, Timo Boll CAF, Sardius, and Primorac Carbon Butterfly blades
• TABLE TENNIS GLUE - Butterfly Free Chack recommended when assembling Butterfly table tennis rubbers

Impartial XB is a great option for the player that wants the best of both worlds. This new rubber uses a harder pimples structure, combined with the High Tension rubber. This results in an upgrade in both speed and spin from a classic short pips rubber sheet.

Impartial XB supports passive block shots as well as offensive play focused on speed. This dynamic rubber is recommended for a direct offensive playing style close to the table, but also easily transitions to a balanced allround game due to the pip shape.

• A High Tension pips-out rubber suited for both passive and aggressive play
• The soft sponge layer helps provide a solid foundation of control, while also lending itself to easy power
• Impartial XB is recommended for the steady defensive minded player that will not hesitate to seize the attack!
• Pairs well with the Balsa Carbo X5, Timo Boll CAF, Sardius, and Primorac Carbon Butterfly blades

Butterfly Ilius S is a completely new long pip top sheet with a brand new sponge. When long pips rubber has hard sponge, the pimples will bend more, thus greater effects will be obtained. Generally, the harder the sponge, the more difficult it is to control as the speed of the ball off the racket gets faster.

However, Absorber Sponge Heavy absorbs the energy of the opponent's ball well even during hard impact, so you can have high stability while taking advantage of the long pimpled effect. In addition, the durability of the top sheet has more than doubled compared to the Feint Long III, which has a similar pimple shape.

This is due to the compounds used to achieve durability whilst maintaining the performance of the rubber. The top sheet is rather hard with pimples whose aspect ratio is at the highest limit permitted to extract the features of the rubber.

The combination of the top sheet and Absorber Sponge Heavy makes it easier to play a push stroke and to return an opponent's attack with a low defensive stroke with heavy spin or with minimal spin.

The rubber is recommended for defensive players, enabling subtle changes as well as stability in rallies.

PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

• Ilius S is the first long pimpled rubber with Absorber Sponge Heavy, developed by Butterfly
• This new hard sponge allows for exceptional control on chops and pushes, even when receiving powerful shots
• To accentuate the long-pip effect, the pimple shape is as thin and high as ITTF rules allow
• Designed for spin variation and ease to block an opponent’s return, all with a low trajectory
• Ilius S is recommended for defensive players, enabling subtle changes as well as stability in rallies

Butterfly Ilius B is a completely new long pip top sheet with a brand new sponge, Absorber Sponge Drop. When long pips rubber has hard sponge, the pimples will bend more, thus greater effects will be obtained. Generally, the harder the sponge, the more difficult it is to control as the speed of the ball off the racket gets faster.

However, Absorber Sponge Drop absorbs the energy of the opponent's ball well even during hard impact, so you can have high stability while taking advantage of the long pimpled effect. The top sheet is also rather hard with pimples whose aspect ratio is at the highest limit permitted to extract the features of the rubber.

The combination of the top sheet and Absorber Sponge Drop provides a high performance when playing a short stroke over the table, such as chop block. In addition, innovative attacking and defensive play are both possible, thus making best use of the characteristics of the long pimples, such as a low penetrating backhand with minimal spin.

In addition, the durability of the top sheet has more than doubled compared to the Feint Long III, which has a similar pimple shape. This is due to the compounds used to achieve durability whilst maintaining the performance of the rubber.
