Joola Blades

For many years the composition of his choice, the Hugo Calderano ARY-X is an important part of Hugo Calderano's incredible career. Its unique weave of composite fibers without carbon is combined with a stiffer koto outer layer wood, a unique blend and balance that gives exceptional safety windows and consistency, even with high powered shots.

The blade is also extremely forgiving and pairs well with harder and faster rubbers, adding great touch on the offensive.

A direct offensive blade, the JOOLA Hugo Calderano KL-c Outer places out-layer KL-c (Aramid Carbon) composite fibers just beneath hard koto veneers. This composition is designed for aggressive play and gives explosive speed, crisp feel and precise control.

It is part of the Hugo Calderano blade collection, with a 5+2 ply construction - Koto - KL-c - Limba - Kiri - Limba - KL-c - Koto - that provides clear OFF+ speed with agile handling, ideal for fast rallies, powerful counterloops and penetrating drives from mid-distance.

KL-c Composite Technology: KL-c is a proprietary hybrid weave of Aramid and carbon fibers. It blends carbon's extreme stiffness, for maximum rebound and a rigid sweet spot, with Aramid's damping and toughness, for a fuller, less harsh impact.

Placed in the outer layer, KL-c is felt more immediately through the thin koto outer veneer, which creates direct ball contact, higher speed and a crisp OFF+ character compared to the inner KL-c blade.

Target Player Profile: suited for advanced developing and competition players seeking maximum speed, precision in fast rallies, and agile response for counter-attacking styles. Close to the table and at mid-distance the outer KL-c offers great acceleration, and further back it offers high safety.

The blade the 2025 World Cup Champion from Brazil chooses to play with, the Hugo Calderano ARY-c is an inner layer ARY-c fiber blade tailored to the powerful and versatile game of one of the world's best table tennis athletes, and it carries a distinct green and yellow design.

Like JOOLA's other premium blades, it pairs high quality materials and Korean manufacturing with a finely crafted Italian made handle. The Limba outer layer gives exceptional spin and speed, so you can play aggressively at close and mid-distance and still have high safety windows further back from the table.

An ideal introduction to the world of carbon fiber blades, the BASEline Carbon is a light entry-level blade with a fine inner soft carbon layer. That layer composition adds stiffness while maintaining the natural all wood type of feeling which players love, and it brings great speed with high safety margins and a high arc over the net in topspin play.

With a low total weight of 83 grams, the blade also reduces the overall racket weight, which creates great balance with firmer rubbers.

A step up in the series, the BASEline Offensive moves to a more offensive allwood composition. It keeps the great feeling and the stable, 6.5mm thick composition, and adds a stiffer and more powerful Koto wood top layer, which increases the overall hardness of the blade and gives players a more reactive surface for explosive contact and direct power.

At a lightweight 83 grams, the blade suits attacking focused beginners and developing players who are looking for a touch more offensive capability in their equipment.
