The Butterfly RDJ CS1 Chinese Penhold Table Tennis Racket is designed to offer a great foundation for novice level players who are learning the basic strokes. Spryer offers good speed, spin and control for any style of play. The 1.7mm sponge will help to keep the pace of play a bit slower than a thicker sponge. The backside of the blade is painted black as traditional Chinese penhold rackets are constructed with rubber on only one side of the blade surface as both forehand and backhand shots are executed using the same side of the paddle.
